Sizzix Project - Vintage Ruler Shadow Box

Hi all! I have a new project to share with you on the Sizzix blog today. It's a Father's Day shadow box that I created using Tim Holtz' new Sized Rectangles Movers and Shapers die. My favorite part is the faux antique wood ruler that was made using the Sizzix Rulers Texture Fade. I have a collection of vintage folding rulers and this looks almost exactly like them, but is made entirely from paper! Click HERE to view the full tutorial.

Everything I used can be found at Inspiration Emporium via the links below. Remember to use my coupon code - stamptramp - to save 10%!

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Don't forget to check out my Pop 'n Cuts giveaway and tutorial in THIS post!

    Why do you show this???
Now I NEED that ruler texture fade cause this looks soooo real!
No need for hunting fleamarkets for old rulers...

    Thanks for showing;)

  6. Same problem as inge. I saw no need for the ruler texture fade until now.My father was an old world type carpenter.I remember his folding rulers-I need to do something like this with a picture I have of him and his tools.
