Graphic 45 Rare Oddities Pop it Ups Tent Card

Hi again, everyone! I'm back today with my second card for Karen Burniston's Designer Challenge. This card was inspired by my wickedly talented teammate, Frances Byrne. A couple months ago, Frances came up with the idea to turn Karen's Oval Accordion die into a tent card. Brilliant, right? Ever since I saw it, I've been dying to try one. This month's challenge was the perfect excuse!

I cut the front of the card from Graphic 45's Rare Oddities 6x6 paper using the Pop it Ups Accordion Oval die and cut out the inner oval. The back was cut from the book-themed paper from the 8x8 pad. I decorated the front with Karen's Oval Flourish Frame Edges that I covered in Elizabeth Craft Designs' Black Microfine Glitter. I love the subtle shimmer it gives the card.

All the little pieces in the tent were fussy cut from Graphic 45's 8x8 paper pad. To finish off the card, I added a little Rare Oddities sign that was stamped using the coordinating stamp set. If I'd had more time, I would still be working on this - it's so much fun to keep adding and adding all those little elements!

The supplies I used can be found at Elizabeth Craft Designs and Simon Says Stamp via the links below.

Thanks so much for stopping by today - I hope you enjoyed my spooky apothecary tent card. Be sure and check out the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog tomorrow for a fantastic video tutorial from Karen plus lots of amazing inspiration from the team!
