Wow! How many of you are enrolled in Tim Holtz's new Creative Chemistry 102 class? Today really started off with a bang! I have absolutely no time to be playing right now - I should be getting ready for a trip! - but I had to carve out an hour or so to experiment with the Eroded Metallic technique. This one is totally new to me and I am in serious love with it.
Isn't that the most incredible looking finish? With not much time to spend on making something, I decided to just use what way lying around on my table. Good thing I am a slob - there was tons of stuff to work with. :) With the grungy, industrial look of this technique, I decided to add a few odds and ends that would enhance the tag, but not cover up that cool finish. I even threw in a little measuring tape trim on the bottom that I used the Distress Paint Industrial technique (also from today's class) on. Love the look of that!
If you haven't signed up for this class, you need to do it right now. Just the techniques shared in the first day are worth the class fee - and there are still six more days! I'm telling you, it is inspiration overload for sure. Remember, you can join at any time and you have lifetime access to it all!
Speaking of inspiration, the faux challenge over at the Inspiration Emporium blog has been extended through this month. I hope you can join us - you might be the winner of a $50 gift certificate! All the supplies I used in my tag are available through IE via the thumbnails below. Remember to use my coupon code - stamptramp - to save 10%!
Thanks so much for stopping by - have a great week!
Just WOW - fabulous job on taking the Eroded Metallic technique turbo with the dry embossing! I'm still working on getting my Eroded Metallic technique to work.
