Hi all! Hope you have all been having a fabulous November! Today I'm excited to share the card I created for Karen Burniston's monthly challenge. This month, Karen asked the team to create
something using one of her video techniques. With so many to choose from, it was tough! I finally decided on her Pivot Accordion Card, combining two different types of Pop it Ups dies for a hybrid card. I have been dying to try this one and I'm so glad I did. It's really a showstopper!
I love using the Barn die for Christmas cards - so cute decorated with tiny wreaths! To get it to fit, you have to cut a tiny slit between the barn doors. It's impossible to see if you're not looking right at it. I decorated the edges of my card with Karen's Fancy Seasons Frame Edges die.
I carried the country scene to the other end of the card with the horses from the Western Edges die set. The patterned paper is all from Tim Holtz's Yuletide paper stash. I think it's so perfect for this card! To add a little more interest, I added a string of banners that were cut from the Yuletide paper using the dies from Karen's Lots of Pops die set.
Great news! Elizabeth Craft Designs is having a huge promotion going on that you don't want to miss! Here are the details:
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Be sure and check out the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog tomorrow for yet another fantastic card and video from Karen, plus loads of inspiring cards from the rest of the team!

ReplyDeleteI love how you combine Karen's pop it up dies to perfection. I am so thrilled to see you using a cut of your tree from your garden for display purposes, I love that. Tracy x

ReplyDeleteOMG... love it ... what's Christmas without plaid ?!
ReplyDeleteI love horses, so it was nice to see them instead of the deer. Great die set for any occasion. ;) Have a great Sunday and thanks for sharing.
