First off, let me announce the winner of the Tim Holtz idea-ology messenger bag and other assorted goodies! I plugged the number of comments into the Random Number Generator and the number chosen was 15. That's Claudine C! Congrats, Claudine! I will be getting your package out as soon as I get your mailing info. A huge thanks to everyone who left me such wonderful comments - I wish I could send something to everyone!
Now, for my tag! I was so excited to see that Tim posted the August tag for the 12 Tags of 2012 this morning. I missed last month because I just didn't have time to sit down and get it done. This month, I was on top of my game and did it asap! I used a lot of the same elements in a Halloween card I made for CHA, so I decided to recreate it, but in tag form. That made it very easy to pull together!
I love the idea of using an Adirondack Dabber for the resist - genius! It really made the embossed portion pop. I just got the Seasonal Reflections stamps a few weeks ago and love how they look with the Book Cover Texture Fade, so I used the Halloween stamp to add the text behind my silhouette. Instead of using the new Stampers Anonymous stamp, I used the new Sizzix Mini Silhouettes. I gave her a little witchy hat trimmed with the new idea-ology Tinsel Twine - love that stuff!
I am such a huge fan of the roses made with the Tattered Pinecone die, but it's impossible for me to pass up the chance to use the Sizzix Tattered Flower Garland die. I just love stacking up the layers! These were made with black Kraft Core'dinations that was sprayed with Perfect Pearls mist. They are so gorgeous in person! I backed the tag with a piece of kraft cardstock cut to size, and used the Distressed Doily die to cut the bottom border.
Since I don't have the new Seasonal Chit Chat stickers yet, I used the Reflections technique on a scrap of kraft cardstock to create a substitute for the them. I was pretty happy with how that worked. It's a great way to make those stamps do double duty! For the ribbon, I dyed idea-ology Crinkle Ribbon with Black Soot Distress Stain.
I must say, I'm pretty proud of myself for getting this done so fast! Tim's tag is beautiful and I hope I did it justice. If you like to purchase any of the materials I used, you can get them from Inspiration Emporium via the links below. Don't forget to use my coupon code - stamptramp - to save 10% off your order!

Thanks so much, Erin! I didn't do anything to the doily. It might just look a little different because so little of it is exposed.
