The background was created on manila cardstock using Tim's marbled Distress paint technique and overstamped with the text image from the new Chemist stamp set. Next, I created what's supposed to be a little Steampunk factory. That's where my guy's been working on all his spooky mechanical creations! The buildings on the left and right were cut from the new Laboratorie paper using the Artful Dwellings die. The building in the center was cut with the same die, but I inserted one of the Mini Gear Movers and Shapers dies into the die and cut the building from kraft paper. I removed the die cut gear, stamped the paper with the poison label background, painted the gear with metallics, and then reinserted it onto the opening.
To finish the card, I added a fence that was cut with the new Sizzix Ironwork Gate strip die. Such a cool die! It was cut from kraft paper and given a metal finish with silver and black Adirondack Dabbers. To finish it off, I added a label pull with one of the new Apothecary Remnant Rubs.
