For the past few months, Karen Burniston has been challenging a group of designers to create something with her dies in a certain theme. This month it's all about 'Clear Creations'. Anything goes as long as you're using clear material in some way.
I love the illusion you get when using transparencies with Karen's dies. All sorts of magic things start happening! For this card, I cut the Accordion 3D panels out of acetate and then used the Bracket Frame and Label die to decorate the front and back of the panels, hiding the clear material.
For the center pieces, I used the Label piece from the BF&L die, along with Karen's new Labels and Stitched Frames Framelits set, to create a frame that I adhered to the clear portion. Tim Holtz's Halloween Shadows die was perfect for little silhouettes to 'float' in the frames. To finish off the card, I added a glittered cat and spider web that were both cut using a really cute Halloween Thinlits set from Sizzix.
Most of the products I used can be found at Inspiration Emporium via the links below. Remember to use my coupon code - stamptramp - to save 10% on your order!
