Row House Swap

This is my contribution to a row house swap on the TN Stampers Yahoo group. It's a good thing I only had to make ten - I was worn out before I had the first one done! It's so much better IRL. It is much more textural and dimensional. The bird is from I Brake For Stamps (formerly Time to Stamp) and is stamped on mica. The letter S is from Oxford Impressions. TIP! Don't throw away the waste after punching out your Grungeboard pieces - they are great to use as stencils! I also use Grungeboard pieces as masks. For this piece I used the large flourish as a mask and spritzed around it with Ranger Cranberry Colorwash spray. The background is acrylics in various colors.

  1. Love the red! Welcome to the world of blogging. I will add you to my list to check daily. It is a great way to keep in touch.

  2. Love this so much Shelly!!
I have always loved the Bird Images. I need to get them out :)

  3. I could have spotted the cranberry colourwash a mile away, I would bathe in the stuff if I could afford it :D

    beautiful house
