CHA-Bound + a Sneak Peek!

Happy Sunday, everyone! I hope you're having a fantastic weekend. Right now I should be packing for CHA, but I wanted to pop in (ha!) and share one of the card samples I made for Karen Burniston's new Snippets collection. I think this might just be my favorite collection of hers! There are so many new pieces that you can use to update existing dies, plus some incredible inserts for the Pop 'n Cuts base die.

I was rummaging through my papers and found this gorgeous paper from Prima that I'd totally forgotten I had (note to self: clean studio). All the paper and embellishments are from their Lyric collection, which is beautifully feminine. The bottom edge was cut using one of the larger Framelits dies from Karen's Labels and Stitched Frames set. Speaking of which, do you notice the little stitch lines on the center panel? Those were created with the stitching die from that set. So cool!

Inside, I used one of my favorites from the Snippets collection. It's the Multi-tier 3D pop-up. I love all the different little tabs that you can add elements to. It's also nice that you can leave them 'un-popped' if you don't want to use them. I used the upper small pop-up, but left the lower one down, covering the score lines with paper.

My other favorite die from Karen is the banner from her Banner and Borders set. For my little bunting, I cut the banner in half and wrapped it around some baker's twine.

Most of the supplies I used can be found at Inspiration Emporium via the links below. Remember to use my coupon code - stamptramp - to save 10%! The Snippets collection will be shipping in September, so be sure and ask your stamp/scrapbook store to order them!

Ok, off to shower up and head for the airport. I'll try (I promise) to share lots of pics and videos from the show!

  1. Oh! I love how you used the large Framelit as an edger. Will be swiping, pronto, in time for demos on Tuesday. And you have to let me because it will be my birthday! Can't wait to see you later today.
