This card was one of my favorites. I love how all the different elements - stamps, dies, and embellishments - work together. Brett Weldele's new Chemist rubber stamp is definitely the star of the show and was fun to create a little story around.
Behind the frame, I added an embossed panel that was painted and then layered with gears that were cut from chipboard using the Gadget Gears and Mini Gears dies. They were all painted with metallic Distress paint. The little bottle was tinted with alcohol ink and a Screw Eye was attached to the cork. It dangles from a ring fastener that is threaded through several gears.
Here is another shot of the card as it was displayed in the idea-ology booth. It's such a cool card that isn't too specifically 'Halloween'y' or spooky, just kinda dark and mysterious!

ReplyDeleteOops I seem to have lost what I was typing - not sure if I hit post or not so if I repeat myself I am sorry Shelly! Ass I was saying before technology got the better of me.....I agree with you a lovely dark and mysterious card. I love the bottle charm containing bones! Could also work with fairy dust for an altogether different look ;-) Hugs Helen x
