Karen Burniston Designer Challenge - Party Animals

Hi all! Today I'm sharing a quick and easy project for the final Karen Burniston Designer Challenge of 2016. Our theme was 'party animals' and we were to use any of the character dies in a celebration theme. I used the challenge as an excuse to make some cute planner clips - I am celebrating getting organized in the coming year and starting a cute new planner is part of that plan!

When Karen shared the 'woodland' version of Dutch the Fox and Honey the Bear, I fell in love and thought they would be perfect for my clips. I've posted the video below if you'd like to try it yourself. I created mine pretty much like Karen's, other than using Ranger's Enamel Accents for the eye highlights. The clips are the larger ones you can find at the dollar store. After I'd created my woodland creatures, I just glued them to the clips, and covered the exposed clip on the back with a strip of matching paper to keep it tidy looking.

You can find the supplies I used at Elizabeth Craft Designs and Simon Says Stamp via the links below. As luck would have it, ECD is celebrating 100k Facebook likes and is rewarding everyone with a sale code! Now through 1/1/17 take 20% off your order - use coupon code FRIENDSHIP at checkout. In addition, Simon has all of their Ranger products on sale for 25% off until the 28th!

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Be sure and check out Karen's blog tomorrow for a great card idea and lots of party animal inspiration from the team!
